|Shou Lao strolled past the stalls. Examining each one as he went by. Hanging, poison, elctrocution, gas, he paused at each stall as he pondered his untimely demise.|
He stopped when he came to a group of strange looking people.
A werewolf stared at him with baleful yellow eyes. "You wanna race?" Shou Lao smirked. But his expression soon changed when the werewolf skulked towards him. The predator had found the prey.
Shou Lao's instinct was to run like the wind. "Catch me if you can!" he taunted.
The werewolf let out a guttural snarl and the hunt was on.
Shou Lao ran as fast as his legs could carry him. The sounds of the werewolf reminded him that the creature was still hot on his trail and closing in.
Shou Lao pushed himself to run harder. His lungs burned and his legs were beginning to feel like rubber. The
unnerving howl made him lose his focus.
His predator was closing in.
Shou Lao started to slow down, and without even thinking, glanced behind him.
The werewolf lunged for him, leaving him gasping for air as he was slammed to the ground with unnatural force.
Shou Lao's eyes were wide with fear as the last thing he saw was the gaping maw of the beast, its sharp teeth glinting in the soft, pale moonlight.
"I told it you were crunchy and good with ketchup." HoD's chilling voice echoed in Shou Lao's head.
The sounds of Shou Lao screaming in agony as he was ripped to shreds and the unearthly growls of the werewolf lingered on the cold night air.
Only a mangled heap remained of the werewolf's prey.
